Clinical Hypnosis and IVF

During In Vitro Fertilisation or Intracytoplasmic Sperm Injection (ICSI) embryos are created outside the body and then transferred back to the woman following successful fertilisation.

A clinical trial done in Israel showed that hypnosis during embryo transfer increased the success rate by fifty per cent. It is known that the uterus can spasm when the tube is inserted into the cervix ready for the embryo(s) to be transferred. The study used hypnosis to completely relax the uterus so that the muscles were unable to spasm meaning the embryos were then not expelled prior to implantation.

I incorporate these principles and techniques with all my clients undergoing any fertility treatment as well as helping them to get the best possible results by concentrating on each phase of the treatment.

These incorporate Pre-IVF optimisation, down regulation phase, stimulation (follicle growing) phase, egg collection, embryo transfer and implantation phase.
